I just finished my network settings module. From the advanced/settings menu, the tree is changed to:

WAN settings
- NAT (added shortname, use IPv6)
- Gateway (Gateway, Domain, DNS servers)
LAN settings
- IP (device, dhcp or IP,subnet,range,broadcast)
- VLAN (old LAN settings, and device, dhcp or IP,subnet,range,broadcast)

I'm able to set all network related settings , reload Asterisk, restart network and Vlan.

But I want to be able to issue a system reboot after all settings are done. teh code

system ("sudo /sbin/reboot")

has no effect. I inserted /sbin/reboot in the apache part of sudoers, using visudo, still no effect. What do I do wrong?

I'm not sure why the Druid Team still will not add the "Shutdown" and "Reboot" buttons to Druid (when Elastix, FreePBX, etc have it). However, all I do is use putty.exe to simply enter the command as follows; reboot

We are working on moving Druid to run entirely as the apache user and Asterisk as a non root user. We are getting rid of all the stuff we do though sudo for security reasons so it would probably not be possible to run a root level command though the apache user.

If I may ask;

1. What effect does this have on Druid system-wide as far as administration?
2. And, do you mean v2.0.1 and v5.0.3?
3. Does this also mean such things as the "shutdown" and "reboot" buttons will not be possible?

Does this also affect changes already made? I have to write to the network config files and have to set rights on those files. I hope you are not planning on throwing away a couple of weeks of my work. Save it till v3 and v6!!

No probably not we will set proper group permissions on all files we need access too. Anyhow this is not anytime soon its just in discussion stage as off now
